Training Programs

We offer in-home lessons-based training programs based on how much direct help you prefer. The more time you and your dog spend with us, the more freedom and peace of mind you can achieve with the training.

Become your own dog trainer by learning our system from the ground up. Our training is designed to be easy for both you and your dog, so you don’t have to be a dog training expert or spend years just to get them to listen and behave. For about an hour per week, we’ll come to you for lessons, so the training takes place where it will have the most impact.

“Field trip” lessons are included in every program, to ensure your dog can listen calmly in public settings, in addition to unlimited follow up lessons/refresher lessons in case you need help at some point down the line. Your dog will learn to have manners within the first lesson or two, and most dogs can be fully trained in a couple months or less.

Lifeline Program

(On-Leash)

Find out why our clients call this system the “magic leash!” The Lifeline Program covers all the essentials: leash manners, getting your dog calm and listening around big distractions, coming to you, and walking by your side, so you can be done having your arm yanked out of the socket. Not to mention you can put an end to those stressful and embarrassing situations that send your dog into chaos-mode, because we stop aggression, reactivity, and fear in this program.

The only limitation is that your main communication method will be the leash, and the awesome results of the training will depend on your dog being leashed. Otherwise, you’ll be able to get your dog to listen calmly in any situation, around any distraction/trigger (even with “stubborn” dogs and extreme behaviors). This makes it great for dogs who primarily have issues on walks, or in situations where you can leash them ahead of time, or just a great place to start with any dog. Typically completed in about 2 weeks.

Invisible Leash Program

(Off-Leash w/ Hand Signals)

Let’s face it, our dogs spend the majority of their time off-leash, especially in the home. This program is how we take the training a step further, to get your dog listening off-leash around all those big distractions and triggers. It includes the on-leash results described above (so you don’t need both programs to get both on + off-leash), and also a hand signal so you can get your dog listening and calm without needing a leash.

You’ll be able to just say your dog’s name & show them where you want them to go with your hand (maybe to a dog bed, or to walk by your side, etc) and it’s like you have a leash in your hand- even if you don’t! You can also use this system to get them to come to you from a distance, and stay where you put them, so you won’t find yourself playing an embarrassing game of tag through the neighborhood. Typically completed in about a month.

Scholar Program

(Off-Leash w/ Verbal Commands)

This program is for those folks who want that brainiac of a dog, who you can basically have a conversation with. That means it includes all the results from the above programs (on-leash + off-leash with hand signals), plus the full vocabulary for all the different positions/commands we teach.

Imagine saying a word just once and your dog listens right away. For example we have “place” (or any word you prefer) for going to the dog bed, and for walking by your side we say “heel”. Of course we have “come”, “sit”, and “down” as well- all the things that you can learn to do with the leash or hand signals in the previous programs, but in the Scholar Program you get all three. Typically completed in about a month and a half.
